WR: Antonio Brown, DeSean Jackson, Torrey Smith, Josh Gordon, Brandon Lafell, Shaun Hill
TE: Vernon Davis, Pitta

The trade would be Desean and Fred for Andre Johnson and Mendenhal

My main hopes is Andre could be a low end number 1 WR, Houston has a fairly soft schedule ROS. I have too much invested in Eagles with Vick, Desean and McCoy, looking to get more variety, I know I'd end up with 3 Steelers after the trade, but Mendenhal would be a Flex most weeks and I alternate Vick and Ben on matchups, so it won't hurt as much.

We are both 2-5 this season, my main issue was not realizing the importance of receivers in PPR leagues, also Matthews and Fred being hurt first few games, combine with 4 of my losses coming against teams who scored their highest totals against me. I aquired Antonio Brown last week for Alfred Morris, thinking this might help me push for the playoffs. is my team good enough as is, or would this trade help? My major concern is of course, Andre is on bye this week.

I'd say go for it. With the way that your roster looks, neither Mendenhall nor Fred Jackson are weekly plays for you, and Johnson is an upgrade over Desean Jackson. I think this is a good trade for you.

If you can, accept it tomorrow at noon or 1, depending on the time zone, then, the players wouldn't unlock until the next week. Sneaky way to avoid bye-week problems.
