Trade Advice
The trade is Big Ben, Torrey Smith, Fred Jackson for Julio Jones, Jay Cutler and Isaac Redman

QB: Vick, Big Ben
RB: McCoy, Matthews, Fred Jackson, Jonathan Stewart
WR: Antonio Brown, Desean Jackson, Torrey Smith, Josh Gordon, Shaun Hill, Brandon Lafell
TE: Vernon Davis, Dennis Pitta

That's my team, 12 Teams 1 - PPR

I figure with McCoy and Matthews I can afford to trade Fred, also Torrey has been hit or miss and Big Ben is good but my league only punishes turnovers with -1 point, so Vick has actually been good. It's pretty much depth for a true number 1 WR. I'd probably cut Cutler, he really doesn't have much else to chose from.

his team
QB: Schaub, Cutler
RB: McGahee, Forte, Ridley, Deangelo and Redman
WR: Julio, Devery Henderson, Emanuel Sanders, Greg Little, Chris Givens
TE: Kyle Rudolph, Brandon Myers

We are both 2-5 at this point, I've been unlucky as 4 of my losses came against teams that have had their highest scoring weeks.

We also start 1 QB, 3 WR, 2RB, 1WR/RB, 1 TE

Julio has also been hit or miss this season as well, and he's not a true WR1, he's not even the first option on his own team. I believe the Falcons order for receivers is Gonzo, Roddy, then Julio (Although Gonzo and Julio have 54 targets, Roddy still has 53 and his catch rate is 14% higher). Also, the Ravens offense has to pick up the slack from the decline of their defense, which will also lead to more shootouts, meaning more emphasis on the passing game. For this reason I think Torrey > Julio. Also, Big Ben is still outscoring Vick (Even with the point change from turnovers, assuming standard scoring otherwise), and has been more consistent, and should remain so since passing is the only way the Steelers have consistently moved the ball this year, along with the fact that the Steelers defense has also declined this year, meaning more points scored. You also have to keep in mind that if Vick continues to play the way he's playing, Reid will have no choice but to bench him in order to try and save his job, which leads to the risk of possibly losing your starting QB. Therefore, I think Big Ben > Vick >>>>> Cutler. Lastly, Redman will only have value if Mendenhall is hurt, and if Mendy doesn't come back this week, he will definitely be back for week 9. And even with McCoy and Mathews as your starters, you need RB depth (Stewart has been non-existent) due to Mathews injury problems. In my opinion, your losing in all 3 facets of this trade (Although quite minor at WR), and therefore should not do this trade.

If you get Cutler and you have Vick, you have two of the most injury-prone QB's in the league.
I like Ben, but I don't see any value at all for you in Redman, and the way Julio is playing, him either.
SD and Philly are both coming off a BYE, ask yourself if you REALLY see yourself starting Redman over McCoy or Matthews? Or even FJackson if you kept him? I wouldn't.
You need Ben, I would not do this trade at all.
