Questions
don't doubt your studs...
tonight should be a reminder to all of us that a guy drafted in the first 4 rounds or so should be in our line-ups no matter the match up. gore and lynch are proving this tonight. there were many sit/start questions involving these two guys this week - and i believe they are answering those questions themselves. good luck everyone. and as always - comments are appreciated.

Ya, last week I sat Bradshaw against the niners defence. That was a bad idea

However, as there is always an exception to the rule, tonight was no different. Davis is a top-tier TE that I'm sure many people started based simply on the fact that he was their stud at that position. He put up a goose egg. In fact, he was never even targeted. My cry all week has been to sit him if you had a viable second option due to Seattle's shutdown D against TE's lately and I'm very glad I took my own advice. Others had me questioning this because he's my stud, but, stuck with my gut and will see it pay off on Sunday.

your point is valid but davis should never be in the "first 4 rounds" discussion. there are only 2 - and based on gonzo's start maybe a third te that are unbenchable - the position, by nature, lends itself to match-up decisions.

He's not in the first four rounds, but he is a top tier TE, a stud of the TE world, and there was legitimate reason to doubt him, as we saw.

In the league I play in, neither Lynch nor Gore played tonight as both of their owners chose to sit them (and no, I didn't own either).
