someone in my league dropped Greg Jennings, would it be a good idea to pick him up and just keep him on my bench till he can play? my receivers right now are Dez, Nicks, Bowe, Maclin, and Andre Roberts. I will probaly drop my extra kicker

    hahahahahahahaha......two kickers?!?!?!?!? You should drop the 2nd kicker for any warm body, so of course you should drop him for Jennings! What kind of moron drops Jennings?

    Then, do yourself a favor. At the end of the season, look at the total points scored for kickers in your league. Take the difference between the #1 and #10 kicker (or #12, or #8, depending on how many teams are in your league), and then divide by 16. The answer will represent the points per game difference between the best kicker in fantasy football and the worst "starting" kicker in your league.

    What you'll see is that it doesn't matter who your kicker is. You just have to hope that whoever you do have gets hot during the week you need the points. Never ever ever carry two of them.

    even then, its not worth it to drop a valuable player to add a 2nd kicker. Always drop whatever kicker you have during his bye week.

    If you could get Jennings, I'd say drop Roberts and get him, or your extra kicker. Jennings is an incredibly talented player when healthy, and if that's all you have to do to get him, it'd be foolish to not at least try to get him. At the very least, he could serve as good trade bait.
