Should I start looking to trade Matt Ryan?
I'm currently 5-0 with a two game lead on everyone else in my league. I have a great WR group (Megatron, Cruz, Demaryius Thomas) and my RB spot is okay (Ridley, McGahee, Murray). My QB is Matt Ryan and I'm wondering if I should consider shopping him if the Falcons keep winning. I feel pretty comfortable that I'll make the playoffs, but I don't want a potential league championship game screwed up by Ryan being benched.

Edit: I'm talking about trading Ryan and, say, McGahee for Peyton and Ray Rice. I'm looking at playoffs here, and if the Falcons are say 13-1 and have already clinched home field that puts Ryan on the bench for my league championship game.

    No don't trade him. Your QBs consistenlty give you the most points.

    If you can get Ray Rice do it. Rice is so much better than McGahee, and Ryan isn't enough better than Peyton to make up for it. If you can get Foster/Rice/McCoy and a decent starting QB, I'd make that trade.

    Not sure what type of league you're playing in, but in most of them, there is a list of undroppable players. In my opinion, they should also be UNTRADEABLE players. Studs like these strengthen any fantasy league team. Matty Ice is on fire, unlike last season when things didn't go so well for him. Unless he encounters a season-ending injury, keep him at all costs.

    Even if he's traded for Peyton and I can use his hot streak as a way to upgrade my running back to Ray Rice?

    If you can get a top tier running back and another starting QB then definitely go for it. I would maybe stay clear of Peyton and try and trade for his Brother Eli, I BELIEVE IN ELI!!!

    I wouldn't trade him. I better option would be to pick a decent QB that would be playing come weeks 15 and 16. Somone like a Jay Cutler. But if you would get offered that trade I would think about it at least.

    I was kind of thinking that as well. I'm in the same position as you, 5-0, worrying about the playoffs now. If Matty is sitting, that would destroy any shot I have of winning it all. I'm definitely gonna hold on to him until the time comes closer though, and maybe the Falcons will start losing, who knows!
