So is James Starks or Alex Green the man to own in GB? Just read Starks may be the "starter".

1Dustin Wagner (493 Reputation Points)I think it depends on your format. If you are in PPR, then Green is your guy, he will likely get 3-4 catches for 25-30 yards per game, as Benson did. With Starks, he brings a little more power to his style, and will likely be more of the bellhorse. I do not like Starks a lot, but I do value him slightly higher then Green in Standard format, think low end RB3/4 for both in standard, and I think Green has flex appeal in PPR formats.

1Tony Plush (500 Reputation Points)Starks is the better blocker, so he may see more field time. I think Green has a lot of upside, and given Starks' injury history, I think he's better guy to pick up. They'll probably split carries against Houston, and I don't really expect either of them to do anything spectacular against that tough D.1 Comment↳Zandercage (500 Reputation Points)Thanks. I also like Green's upside, and realize this upcoming week won't be productive for either.

0reignman (446 Reputation Points)Starks is coming back from a turf toe injury so I'm passing on him and buying on Green. Benson was averaging 9 to 10 points. I think Green could manage 7 or 8 points in that offense which would be decent as a flex play.

-1Thomas Naughton (458 Reputation Points)Unless you absolutely need a RB, leave them both on the waiver wire as GB will likely go to last year's habit of throwing, throwing, and throwing some more with Benson out.3 Comments↳Dustin Wagner (493 Reputation Points)going to last years throwing habit is why Green has PPR success opportunities.↳Zandercage (500 Reputation Points)You're probably right. Starks averaged 10 carries/game last year and Benson is getting 14/game this year. Not a lot of carries to go around if a RBBC situation develops.↳Thomas Naughton (458 Reputation Points)I would at least wait until one of them clearly earns the starters role and starts putting up decent numbers.
