2QB League Strategy
12 Teams, 2QB, 3WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1W/R, 1W/T + IDP6 pts all TDs, .25/completion, .25/carry, .5PPR
Also a keeper league (I am keeping Luck, Lacy, and Forte - no costs for 3 keepers).
Just wondering what kind of strategy you guys would take into the draft in this scenario? Here are some highlights of available guys at each position:
QB:Kaep, Cutler, RG3, Russell Wilson, and the rest below those guys (mainly)
RB: Doug Martin, Ellington, Morris, Gerhart, Spiller
WR: Jordy, Alshon, Torrey, M Floyd, Fitz, Cruz, Roddy
TE: Julius Thomas, J Cameron, etc (Only Gronk + Jimmy kept)
I read an article the other day suggest how having two elite QB1s can really boost your points weekly, but having depth throughout is good too. Ideally I would start Julius Thomas (I pick 8th) and then grab someone like Torrey in rd 2, and continue BPA. QBs usually go quite early (11 being kept this year, 14 were kept last season and Dalton was drafted 2.01)
Any other thoughts? Just looking to get a good discussion going
2- Due mainly to points per carry, that seems like it makes a workhorse back quite valuable. For example, the Jags are saying they want to get Gerhart 20-25 touches per game. That's the equivalent of a touchdown even if none of them are receptions!
3 - I don't know if starting with a TE in the first round is ever a good strategy, even in this league.
