ESPN vs. numberFire rankings?
I was looking through the draft rankings from each site, and I noticed some considerable differences. For example, Lesean McCoy is ranked much higher (#3 vs #11) and so is Stevan Ridley (#10 vs #18) just to name a few. Is there a reason as to why this is, and which site is more accurate?

The thing to keep in mind here is that numberFire is ENTIRELY numbers based whereas ESPN has opinion built into it. While the opinion may be based on said numbers, that's not the only thing that goes into it. For the past several years I've trusted ESPN as one of my top sources and has always paid dividends for me. The people from ESPN who are providing their opinion are experts, and when I say experts, I mean they eat, sleep, and drink sports allllll dayyyyy longggggg. The question you need to ask yourself is if you want your rankings to be completely based on numbers (in which case you would go with numberFire) or if you want some of that expert opinion put into it (and you'd wanna go with ESPN for that). Personally, I like a mix of both, as well as opinions from other sources. Last year I put together an excel file with rankings from 4-5 different sources, and then averaged the rankings to get a solid list. This year I plan on doing the same thing, but now that I've discovered numberFire, I plan on putting a little more weight on those rankings because as I'm sure you've heard, the numbers never lie.

What Sam said is pretty much what I was going to say - numberFire is all numbers, no editorial, no opinion. I've had great success with them in the past.

After you get your team and are trying to choose your line-up NUmberfire is the place.. I have never finished outside the top 3 in my leagues last 3 seasons. ore draft.. I weight heavily on numberfire, but like Sam I like a mix of numberfire with expert opinion.. I also take into account players bye weeks and strength of schedule.. and Preperation is key, meaning as many mock drafts as possible.
