NFL new rule
New Knee and thigh pad rule, good or bad? I think its a great rule.. Which players will it hurt though? too bad they still have those weak defenseless wr rule. I miss old school football!!

1RANDALL SENN (540 Reputation Points)Players don't like it, but I think it's a must. Good example that some overlooked was Sam Shields, GB's cornerback. He was out 6 weeks on what might've been a 2 week injury if he'd been wearing them.

0joe nienow (500 Reputation Points)To reduce injuries they need to take the helmet and the shoulder pads OFF!!!! I guarantee concusions will drop drastically because noe one, and I mean no one will lead with their head twice! Something to think about.

0Tom Olp (500 Reputation Points)I think that most wide outs will work through it by the end of training camp, but it could possibly help rookie wide outs that played with them in college get off to a fast start, potentially. I don't foresee much of an impact though, either way
