Championship game - please re-assure me I'm picking the right lineup in wk17!
ESPN standard scoring.QB: Aaron Rodgers - I think he'll at least play the first half, and if he's sitting in the second half it probably means he threw 2 TD. Other options: Tannehill, Schaub.
RB1: Alfred Morris - Playing for the division against a weak run D with a limited RGIII. Not even I could second guess this pick.
RB2: DeMarco Murray - Bad performance last game, and he's playing a strong Redskins run defense that has a terrible pass defense right at a time Romo & his WRs are playing hot. Making this start makes me quake in my boots. Other options: Forte (was going to be starting him, but the injury screwed me), Gore (won't he be sitting?), Shonn Greene (thinking he's my FLEX), Mikel Leshoure (against Bears? Yikes.)
WR1: Eric Decker - Hot hands, against KC, and I don't seem to have any other choices. Other options: Greg Jennings, Steve Smith, Hakeem Nicks.
WR2: Reggie Wayne - Hot hands, and I don't seem to have any other options. I'm worried the Colts will pull him though. Other options: Greg Jennings, Steve Smith, Hakeem Nicks.
FLEX: Shonn Greene - I think because he's been getting the scores and they're playing the worst run D in the league. Other options: anyone above.
TE: Aaron Hernandez - No brainer unless he can't play for some reason.
D/ST: Texans - I'm hoping the Colts roll over for the second half. Other option: Jets
K: Matt Bryant - I don't know why TB is ranked #1 against Kickers, but this seems like as good a pick as any, unless you think they rest the offensive starters and never even get close to the red zone.
Note that the reason I list a few more players than are on my roster is because they are on free agency (I recently dropped Nicks and LeShoure to get backup QBs before I knew what would happen with Rodgers).
RB's MORRIS AND MURRAY. Both teams fighting for a playoff spot. Jerruh should fire his coach if Murray doesn't tote the ball 25 times.
WR--You should go w/Wayne/Decker and flex Steve Smith. Greene is certainly getting touches, but his team stinks. If it's PPR, i'd play either Jennings or Steve Smith at flex. If it's standard, Greene would be a slight favorite over either of those recievers.
I don't like either of the Defense options you have at this time. Unless the Texan's back 7 suddenly get healthy, I see Indy with their head coach back, putting a pretty good thrashing on Houston. Jets offense sets up their defense with too many short fields and gives teams too many turnovers. Better check the waiver wire again.
Bryant should get plenty of opportuniites to kick given that Ryan and company have a tasty matchup vs TB's sieve like secondary. If TB puts up a fight, they'll stall a few ATL drives and Bryant will have his chances.
Don't know what your opponent has, but I like your team overall (new d plz) GL in the final.
