Martin Jones' Game 5 Masterpiece Makes the Stanley Cup Final Very Interesting
The Stanley Cup was inside Consol Energy Center last night.
But it wasn't lifted.
The Sharks stole Game 5 from the Penguins, forcing a trip back to San Jose for Game 6. The Penguins outshot the Sharks 46 to 22, but were unable to get it past the brick wall San Jose had in net in Martin Jones.
HUGE save by Jones! #StanleyCup https://t.co/9ntrLMBRa6 https://t.co/tRV5mSl7JL

Oh, there's more.
The story of Game 5?

Filthy.
The Sharks are going to need Jones to keep it up, because despite the Game 5 win, the team still has just a 22.77% chance of winning the Stanley Cup Final. Those are better than the 9.63% odds they saw entering Game 5, though, making this an intriguing series after it looked locked up post-Game 4.
A Game 6 victory for the Sharks on Sunday night would mean they'd have an opportunity to become just the second team to ever come back from a 3-1 series deficit in the Stanley Cup Final (31-1 record for the teams that were up 3-1).
They'll surely need their hot goaltender to do it.
