Colorado Avalanche

Players to target: Gabriel Landeskog, Nathan MacKinnon, and Mikko Rantanen

A cheap line in a great matchup is exactly what they Colorado Avalanche provides for us on a 12-game slate. The Washington Capitals' top-six forwards continue to struggle on defense, with the Alex Ovechkin line posting a 42.5 Corsi For percentage and the Nicklas Backstrom line posting a 36.9 Corsi For percentage.

These line numbers for the Capitals aren't huge samples, but they are alarming enough to make this a matchup the Avalanche's talented top line can take advantage of. Mackinnon's line should see some of both Backstrom and Ovechkin, and could see under 5% ownership in tournaments despite them all playing on the top power play against the Capitals' 78.7 percent penalty kill.
