Washington Capitals

Players to target: Evgeny Kuznetsov, Justin Williams, and John Carlson

The Washington Capitals matchup with the Toronto Maple Leafs should be one of the more popular games to stack, but with three solid lines on each team, we could see decreased ownership on the non-Alex Ovechkin lines.

The Caps' top line should see a lot of Nazem Kadri, leaving the Auston Matthews line to matchup with the second line for Washington. We know how great Matthews is offensively, but his line allows 54.5 Corsi Against per 60 minutes and double digit (10.3) Scoring Chances Against per 60 minutes.

The Kuznetsov line, by contrast, is posting 56.8 Corsi For per 60 minutes and 9.5 Scoring Chances Against, so this is a matchup they can take advantage of in what should be a high-event game.

Not only do we get some even-strength correlation with Kuznetsov and Williams skating together, but they will be joined by Carlson on the second power-play unit. Look for them to go under-owned in what is a sneaky good matchup in one of the highest projected totals of the night.
