Calgary Flames

Players to target: Michael Frolik, Mikael Backlund, Matthew Tkachuk and Dougie Hamilton

A Calgary Flames full power-play stack is a viable play tonight.

While they don't get as much attention as the Flames' top line, the second line has been great all year. They are posting 65.9 Corsi For per 60 minutes, 58.3 Corsi For percentage and 9.7 Scoring Chances for per 60 minutes. They will all play on the second power-play unit with Hamilton (who looks to be healthy) against the poor Winnipeg Jets special teams (76.9% penalty kill percentage).

The Jets have swapped Mark Scheifele and Bryan Little, which makes one think that they will use Scheifele in a shutdown role against Sean Monahan and John Gaudreau, leaving the Little line against the Backlund line. With Patrik Laine and Mathieu Perreault by his side, Little's line has allowed 55.7 Corsi Against per 60 minutes as well as a 46.7 Corsi For percentage.

Backlund's line is exceptionable at dumping and chasing, and they should be able to retrieve many of those pucks against a bad possession team (and line). They are still underpriced (none of them are more than $5,600 on FanDuel) and probably won't see too much ownership in GPPs on a big slate.
