Toronto Maple Leafs/San Jose Sharks Game Stack

Players to target: Auston Matthews, William Nylander, Patrick Marleau, Logan Couture, and Brent Burns

The Toronto Maple Leafs' side of this stack has been great lately. In their last 7 games, this duo has posted point totals of 10 (Matthews) and 7 (Nylander). On a huge slate, DFS players can take advantage of the spread out ownership and use Matthews' line in what should be a high-event game.

Matthews, Nylander, and Zach Hyman have posted a 72.7 Corsi For per 60 minutes with 15.5 Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes, which are giving DFS owners a nice floor and a ton of upside. A matchup with the San Jose Sharks looks daunting, but looking at the line matching data, it's actually sneaky good.

They should face the Logan Couture and Patrick Marleau line for the majority (60-70%) of their ice time, which is allowing 62.1 Corsi Against per 60 minutes. However, Couture's line is also posting 69.2 Corsi For per 60 minutes and 10.3 Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes while Matthews' line is allowing 11.3 Scoring Chances per 60 minutes and are not great defensively.

Two up-tempo lines that should face each other for the majority of the game means there should be scoring chances to go around for both lines. With a 6 over/under on the slate (Penguins-Stars), a late-night Leafs-Sharks game stack is a great way to get exposure to two solid lines while also being contrarian.
