Players to target: Sean Couturier, Jakub Voracek, and Nick Cousins

Anyone who looks at line matchup data can see that Couturier's line will most likely take on the daunting line of Alex Ovechkin, Nicklas Backstrom, and T.J. Oshie for most of the game.

This might turn some DFS players off, but if we take a deeper look at the Backstrom line, we should not be afraid to use lines against them when the Capitals are on the road. While this line is scary offensively, they are not a great possession line, allowing 55.9 Corsi Against per 60 minutes and only a 50.1 Corsi For Percentage.

Since the Flyers are at home, they will dictate the matchups during stoppages in play. This means they will put their best possession line (Couturier's) on Backstrom every chance they get. With Travis Konecny as their other linemate, the Couturier-Voracek combo has posted 61.3 Corsi For per 60 minutes and 9.1 Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes.

While Dale Weise is not as gifted an offensive player, he has a better Corsi For Percentage (51.3) than Konecny (50.7), so it is not farfetched to expect similar production. Both Couturier and Voracek will be on the second power-play unit with Nick Cousins, who attempts 14.2 (score-adjusted) shots per 60 minutes. The Capitals commit the second most penalties in the league, and on a short slate, one power-play goal by this unit could propel DFS owners up the leaderboards.
