Tampa Bay Lightning

Players to target: Alex Killorn, Brayden Point, and Jonathan Drouin

With the triplets of Ondrej Palat, Tyler Johnson, and Nikita Kucherov back together, the second line for the Tampa Bay Lightning could go overlooked. Point's line has been playing at a high pace, posting 72.2 Corsi For per 60 minutes, a 59.5 Corsi For Percentage, and a ridiculous 80.5 Scoring Chances For Percentage. They have played incredibly well together and are each coming off a game in which they recorded a point.

In a matchup against the Edmonton Oilers, they should face Leon Draisaitl's line, who has not been a good possession line (67.1 Corsi Against Per 60 minutes and a 46.6 Corsi For Percentage).

Oilers goalie Cam Talbot has won a lot of games this season, but the advanced numbers show that he has not been great at stopping dangerous shots. Talbot sees almost six high-danger shots per game (roughly one above the league average) and has stopped 80% (below league average) of those shots.

Drouin will be on the first power-play unit while Killorn and Point will be on the second. Look for this trio to create a bunch of scoring chances in advantageous matchups against the second and third lines for the Oilers.
