Jon Gruden: Derek Carr 'too aggressive' in Raiders' latest loss
Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was "too aggressive" late against the Miami Dolphins, head coach Jon Gruden said.
"I think at times he is trying too hard," Gruden said of his quarterback. "I’m really excited about the way he has played and improved and mastered this offense. We are getting closer. That was a painful turnover. We will address that, and we will make the corrections." Carr tried connecting with Martavis Bryant in the end-zone late during the Raiders' Week 3 loss to the Miami Dolphins, but it wound up being picked off by Xavien Howard. Despite that, Carr has played much better the past two weeks after an ugly opening performance. Oakland hosts the Cleveland Browns in Week 4.
numberFire's models project Carr to score 17.0 FanDuel points at a cost of $7,000. He's the QB23 in our Week 4 fantasy rankings.
