According to Nick Underhill, wide receiver Michael Thomas officially became a free agent on Wednesday.
What It Means:
It appears Thomas' tenure with the New Orleans Saints will end at 83 games after the 31-year old officially became a free agent on Wednesday. Expect the veteran to draw some interest as a potential part-time receiver after dealing with some many recent injuries.
On 63 targets last season, Thomas ranked 65th among wideouts with a 67.4 Pro Football Focus rating while producing 39 receptions for 448 yards and 1 touchdown.
