Thomas Rawls signs with the Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals signed free agent running back Thomas Rawls on Wednesday.
Rawls was waived by the Jets on September 1 and last played for the Seahawks in 2017. The Bengals waived/injured running back Tra Carson in a corresponding move.
Rawls ran for 157 yards on 58 carries last season. He burst onto the scene in Seattle in 2015 when ran for 830 yards and averaged 5.6 yards per carry, but has rushed for 506 and 3.0 per carry since.
