Aaron Rodgers (knee) avoids further damage in Packers' tie

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee) was "sore" but avoided further damage in Sunday's Week 2 tie against the Minnesota Vikings, head coach Mike McCarthy said Monday.

What It Means:

"I don't have a read on whether he's better this week than last week," McCarthy added, suggesting the Packers will likely manage Rodgers reps again this week. They face the Washington Redskins in Week 3 for their first game outside of Lambeau Field this season.

Rodgers is averaging 20.5 FanDuel points per game to start the year, with 283.5 passing yards on a 69.4 completion percentage with 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. He's also added 23 rushing yards.
