Redskins expect Chris Thompson (leg) to be fully healthy by training camp
Washington Redskins running back Chris Thompson (leg) is making "unbelievable" progress and is expected to be fully healthy by training camp, per head coach Jay Gruden.
Thompson broke his fibula in November 2017 and required surgery. He has been progressing well, and the team expects him to be 100% by training camp in late-July. If all goes well, Thompson will be the third down and receiving back for Washington while rookie Derrius Guice takes on the early downs.
Our models project Thompson for 114.7 touches (56.3 receptions), 800.1 total yards, and 4.4 touchdowns in 2018.
