Dolphins and Jarvis Landry 'making progress' on contract talks

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry says that he is "making progress" in contract talks with the Phins.

What It Means:

This comes only one day after reports that the Dolphins were unlikely to re-sign the 25-year-old. If he stays in Miami that will limit the volume available for DeVante Parker and Kenny Stills, and continue to be a roadblock in the development of Leonte Carroo.

With 112 catches, 987 yards and 9 touchdowns on 161 targets, Landry produced 70.03 net expected points (NEP) in 16 games. His NEP total has now dropped in three straight years.
