Report: Chris Hogan (shoulder) will play for Patriots on Monday night
New England Patriots wide receiver Chris Hogan (shoulder, questionable) will play against the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football, reports Phil Berry of NBC Sports Boston.
This was also reported on Sunday and has been the expectation since Hogan returned to practice this week. He hasn't played since injuring his shoulder in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Despite the layoff, with Rob Gronkowski (suspension) out, the Patriots may ask Hogan to step back into a prominent role right away.
Taking the injury into account, numberFire's models conservatively project Hogan to catch 2.2 passes for 31.6 yards and 0.24 touchdowns on 3.4 targets versus the Dolphins. He comes with a price tag of $7,000 on FanDuel.
