Chris Carson (broken leg, IR) 'unbelievably ahead of schedule' for Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson (broken leg, injured reserve) is "unbelievably ahead of schedule," head coach Pete Carroll said.

What It Means:

Carroll added that Carson will need two weeks of practice before being able to play, but it's unclear if he'll be ready to return this week. If so, that would at least open up the possibility that Carson plays in Week 16 against the Dallas Cowboys. Mike Davis led the Seahawks with 64 yards on 16 carries in Sunday's victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

Carson averaged 9.1 FanDuel points across four games before injury, with 49 carries for 208 rushing yards and 7 catches (8 targets) for 59 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
