Eagles send Cody Parkey to injured reserve
Philadelphia Eagles kicker Cody Parkey has been placed on injured reserve with a groin injury, ending his season.
Parkey kicked through the injury in Sunday's win over the Jets, but that apparently wouldn't be an option going forward. The owner of a career 87.5 field goal percentage, Parkey has a big leg and is accurate. Still only 23, he should return as Philly's kicker in 2016. Caleb Sturgis will kick for the rest of 2015.
