Jets' Matt Forte (knee) is a game-time decision on Sunday
New York Jets running back Matt Forte (questionable, knee) is a game-time decision in Week 12 against the Carolina Panthers, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Gang Green will let Forte go through warmups before determining his status for this week's contest. His practice this week would indicate he's closer to "doubtful" than "probable", as Forte sat out Wednesday and Thursday before getting in just a limited session on Friday. Even if he is active, Bilal Powell will soak up a fair amount of touches and Carolina's top-tier run defense – led by linebacker Luke Kuechly – will be staring back across the line at him.
As of now, our models account for Forte's risk by placing him at the 44th-best fantasy running back projection in Week 12. We give him 33.7 yards from scrimmage and 0.2 total touchdowns on 5.9 touches – good for 5.35 FanDuel points at a salary of $5,400.
