Seahawks think Thomas Rawls is trying too hard

Seattle Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls is trying too hard, thinks offensive line coach Tom Cable.

What It Means:

“Don’t try so damn hard,” Cable explained. “When guys are trying to make a statement, they overstep on the gas. Just relax and play ball." He added that Rawls is "pressing so hard" and it contributed to him being a healthy scratch last week. However, with Mike Davis (groin) sidelined, Rawls should have another chance to take over early-down duties for Seattle in Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers. The third-year undrafted free agent is averaging 2.6 yards on 49 carries this season.

numberFire's models project Rawls to rush 1.2 times for 3.3 yards and 2.7 FanDuel points, at a cost of $5,200, in Week 12.
