Seahawks think Thomas Rawls is trying too hard
Seattle Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls is trying too hard, thinks offensive line coach Tom Cable.
“Don’t try so damn hard,†Cable explained. “When guys are trying to make a statement, they overstep on the gas. Just relax and play ball." He added that Rawls is "pressing so hard" and it contributed to him being a healthy scratch last week. However, with Mike Davis (groin) sidelined, Rawls should have another chance to take over early-down duties for Seattle in Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers. The third-year undrafted free agent is averaging 2.6 yards on 49 carries this season.
numberFire's models project Rawls to rush 1.2 times for 3.3 yards and 2.7 FanDuel points, at a cost of $5,200, in Week 12.
