C.J. Beathard will remain 49ers' starter versus Seahawks in Week 12
San Francisco 49ers quarterback C.J. Beathard will start Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks, head coach Kyle Shanahan announced.
Jimmy Garoppolo will have to wait at least one more week to get the starting nod from his new team. Beathard helped the 49ers earn their first win of the season heading into the bye, and Shanahan decided it was enough to keep the third-rounder under center for Week 12. In six games (four starts), Beathard has completed 54.3 percent of his passes for 204.8 yards per game, with 4 touchdowns and 5 interceptions, while adding 115 rushing yards and 3 scores on the ground.
numberFire's models project Beathard to score 11.6 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,200 in Week 12. He's only the QB27 in our weekly fantasy rankings but could carry sneaky streaming appeal against Seattle's depleted secondary.
