Trevor Siemian will reportedly back up Paxton Lynch for Broncos in Week 12
Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian will be Paxton Lynch's backup against the Oakland Raiders in Week 12, reports Mike Klis of 9News Denver.
Siemian was demoted to third string but he's back up to second on the Broncos' depth chart with Paxton Lynch expected to take over starting duties for his season debut on Sunday. Brock Osweiler will presumably be a healthy scratch for Denver.
Siemian averaged 14.8 FanDuel points across seven starts this season while completing 152-of-247 passes (61.5 percent) for 1,669 yards with 9 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Among the 32 quarterbacks with at least 200 dropbacks, his -0.08 Passing Net Expected Points per dropback rank fourth-worst.
