Redskins will 'play the hot hand' between Josh Doctson, Terrelle Pryor
Washington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden said that the team will employ a "hot hand" approach at wide receiver going forward.
Based on this, Josh Doctson and Terrelle Pryor will be fighting for snaps opposite Jamison Crowder on the outside. Who starts might not matter and both receivers could see decent time if they're both producing. But this is clearly an effort to get at least one of the two to play better and offer more production in the Washington passing game. In Week 7, it was Doctson out-snapping (54-30) and out-producing Pryor.
For Week 8, our models find Josh Doctson to be the better fantasy option. At $5,200, he's projected for 2.2 catches and 6 FanDuel points on 4.4 targets against the Dallas Cowboys. Meanwhile, Pryor is expected to produce 2.1 catches and 4.9 FanDuel points at a price $900 higher than that of Doctson.
