49ers send Tank Carradine (ankle) to injured reserve
San Francisco 49ers linebacker Tank Carradine has been placed on injured reserve with a high-ankle sprain.
What It Means:
Carradine suffered the injury in last Thursday's loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He will be eligible to return to practice in six weeks and return to game action in eight. Elvis Dumervil figures to see the largest uptick in work moving forward.
A 2013 second-round pick, Carradine has recorded 7 tackles (5 solo) with 1 sack in three games this season.
