Mike Gillislee finds end zone once again in Patriots' Week 2 win
New England Patriots running back Mike Gillislee ran 18 times for 69 yards and a touchdown in Week 2's beatdown of the New Orleans Saints.
Rex Burkhead drew the start, and James White was also involved early on. This confirms the Patriots plan to use a committee backfield in 2017. The good news for Gillislee is that he appears to have a hold on goal-line touches. Additionally, it was Gillislee getting the carries late in the second half as New England looked to close out the game. The Patriots host the Houston Texans in Week 3.
Gillislee finished Week 2 with 12.9 FanDuel points and -0.87 Rushing Net Expected Points, per numberFire live.
