Giants' Evan Engram looks to build off promising NFL debut
After a promising debut against the Dallas Cowboys, rookie New York Giants tight end Evan Engram will try to keep it going against the Detroit Lions on Monday night.
With Odell Beckham sitting out, Engram caught 4-of-5 targets for 44 yards in Week 1 against Dallas. He was not targeted in the red zone. It's fair to wonder how many targets Engram will receive once Beckham is back in the mix, but it was a solid start to his rookie season.
Our models ranks Engram as the TE21 in Week 2, and project him for 2.7 receptions, 30.0 yards, and 0.3 touchdowns. That comes out to 7.5 FanDuel points at his $3,200 salary.
