Dolphins' Jay Cutler continues aggressive play Thursday
Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler connected on 5-of-8 throws for 105 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's preseason loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Cutler played a total of 18 snaps Thursday night and continued to look downfield and make plays. Not only did he complete a 72-yard catch-and-run to DeVante Parker, but he also drew a 65-yard pass interference call on a long attempt to Kenny Stills. The score came on a one-yard bullet to Julius Thomas, who could become a big red zone target for Cutler and the Dolphins.
Now 8-for-14 for 129 yards and 1 touchdown in 2 preseason contests, Cutler is projected for 3,438.8 passing yards, 21.7 touchdowns and 14.0 interceptions this season. He comes in at QB26 in numberFire's Draft Kit.
