Seahawks acquire offensive lineman Matt Tobin from Eagles
The Seattle Seahawks acquired offensive lineman Matt Tobin and a 2018 seventh-round pick from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a 2018 fifth-round pick.
This move is in response to the Seahawks losing George Fant for the season after he went down with a "significant" ACL injury during Friday's second preseason game. Tobin was a starter for the Eagles in 2015 but he played just one game last season. The 27-year-old lineman will provide depth for Seattle.
The Seahawks finished 15th in schedule-adjusted Offensive Net Expected Points per play last season.
