Tarik Cohen explodes for Bears on Saturday

Chicago Bears rookie running back Tarik Cohen rushed 11 times for 77 yards in the second preseason game.

What It Means:

With Jordan Howard sidelined, Cohen got the start, coming out of the gate extremely hot. He had long runs of 16, 16, and 25 yards, but his most impressive carry may have been a nine-yard gain that saw him initially plunge inside before turning on the jets and beating everyone to the corner. Cohen should provide a great change-of-pace option behind Howard and could steal some passing game looks.

Our models project Howard for 272 carries, 1,221 rushing yards, and 6.57 touchdowns while adding 41 catches, 362 yards, and 1.17 touchdowns through the air in 2017. He is our RB7 in standard leagues.
