Thomas Rawls clearly ahead of Eddie Lacy for Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls "appears to be the clear number one back" right now, the Seattle Times' Bob Condotta reports.
Rawls split first-team reps with Eddie Lacy in a team scrimmage earlier this week. Lacy has reportedly been working "exclusively with the backups" since. Lacy is getting acclimated to a new offense and coming off ankle surgery, but this is somewhat discouraging news for his 2017 outlook.
We still consider Lacy the favorite for the starting role in Seattle, with 799 rushing yards and 5.00 touchdowns on 183 attempts, adding 23 catches for 167 receiving yards and 0.68 touchdowns.
