Chris Hogan working as Patriots' third receiver
New England Patriots wide receiver Chris Hogan was routinely working as the third receiver in three-wide sets at minicamp.
What It Means:
Malcolm Mitchell should be in the mix for snaps, but Hogan appears to have a stranglehold on the gig for now. He is coming off a 1,000-yard first season in New England including the playoffs. However, Hogan saw more than five targets in a game just once last regular season.
Our models project Hogan to finish 2017 with 543 receiving yards and 3.02 touchdowns on 35 receptions.
