Browns want to run with Isaiah Crowell more in 2017

The Cleveland Browns are committed to running the ball more in 2017, head coach Hue Jackson said.

What It Means:

"Go look at my film," Jackson said, indicating that his history has always been to run the ball. He also believes lead running back Isaiah Crowell -- the only top-20 running back last year to have fewer than 205 attempts -- can "take it to another level" this season. Behind one of the newly-minted top offensive lines in the league, Crowell has top-tier fantasy upside if the Browns commit to him in their play-calling.

Crowell rushed for 952 yards (4.8 yards per carry) and seven touchdowns on 198 attempts last season. Among the 54 running backs to see at least 80 carries last season, Crowell ranked 25th in Rushing Net Expected Points per carry.
