Thomas Rawls should retain some role for Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls will retain a role despite the Eddie Lacy signing, ESPN reporter Sheil Kapadia believes.
Lacy is a much bigger threat to Rawls than C.J. Prosise, but Kapadia expects Seattle to use all three. Head coach Pete Carroll is a big fan of Rawls, and Lacy has traditionally struggled to maintain his effectiveness late in games. In order to keep Lacy fresh, Kapadia expects to see "a healthy dose" of Rawls. This is shaping up as a headache-inducing fantasy situation.
Among the 42 running backs to top 100 carries last year, Rawls's Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt was fifth-least.
