Chiefs sign Gavin Escobar as tight end depth
The Kansas City Chiefs signed tight end Gavin Escobar to a one-year contract.
What It Means:
A 2013 second round pick, Escobar never developed into more than a number three tight end in Dallas. He has just 30 career receptions. Escobar adds depth behind Travis Kelce and Demetrius Harris.
Escobar saw seven targets in 2016, earning a total 3.56 Reception Net Expected Points on them.
