Dolphins safety Louis Delmas out for season with torn ACL
Miami Dolphins safety Louis Delmas suffered a torn right ACL during Wednesday's practice and will miss the rest of the season.
Delmas tore the same ACL nine months ago during Week 14 against the Ravens last season. Delmas will have a tough road back as a free agent next offseason coming off of two ACL injuries.
The Dolphins ranked 19th in our schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points metric last season. Our algorithms had projected Delmas to finish the year with 68 tackles, 1.0 sacks, and 2 interceptions prior to the injury.
