Browns will make offer to Patriots for Jimmy Garoppolo
The Cleveland Browns will continue to try to trade for New England Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, reports
Following Thursday's trade with the Houston Texans, the Browns are now stocked with two 2017 first-round picks, two 2017 second-round picks, and three 2018 second-round picks. According to the report, the Patriots are asking for the first-overall pick in this year's draft, but for now, Cleveland is only willing to part with the 12th selection. The Browns have the pieces to make a deal happen, but we'll see if they fancy Garoppolo enough to ante up.
If Garoppolo had qualified, his 0.44 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back would have ranked first among all quarterbacks with at least 100 drop backs in 2016.
