Jamaal Charles and Seahawks share 'mutual interest'
The Seattle Seahawks and free agent running back Jamaal Charles have "mutual interest," reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The Seahawks have both Thomas Rawls and C.J. Prosise already in tow, but Rapoport says Charles is planning on visiting Seattle. He's played in only eight games since 2014, so there will be plenty of durability concerns and injury questions.
Charles has attempted just 83 rushing attempts over the last two years, but has earned 0.08 Rushing NEP per carry over that span of time. That would have been top-10 in the NFL last season among the 54 backs with 100 or more carries.
