Giants intend to be 'aggressive' with Jason Pierre-Paul
The New York Giants are "planning to be aggressive" with free agent defensive lineman Jason Pierre-Paul, SNY reports.
The Giants have made it clear that keeping Pierre-Paul is a priority this offseason, whether it be with a long-term deal or by using the franchise tag. JPP turned 28 in January and is coming off a season which he tallied 37 tackles, 7 sacks, 8 deflected passes, 3 forced fumbles and also recovered a fumble for a touchdown.
The Giants finished second-best in opponent-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points allowed per play last season. JPP recorded.
