Bills' Tyrod Taylor (groin) has been medically cleared following surgery
Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor has been medically cleared following the groin surgery he underwent when the season ended, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The originally estimated 4-6 week recovery window seems to have been spot-on. The Bills are still undecided on whether or not they will pick up Taylor's $27.5 million option, which is due on March 11. There have been conflicting reports this offseason on whether the Bills intend to keep Taylor, with the most recent indicating that they are likely to pick up the option.
Among the 39 quarterbacks with at least 100 drop backs last season, Taylor's 0.12 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back ranked 19th.
