Steelers say they want Antonio Brown to retire with team

Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert said he wants contract-year wide receiver Antonio Brown to retire with the team.

What It Means:

"I can say unequivocally we want Antonio Brown to retire as a Steeler," were Colbert's exact words on Thursday. He added that talks are ongoing and remain a "priority" for Pittsburgh. Brown turns 29 in July.

Brown had a bit of a "down" 2016, but still posted 109.70 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) on 154 targets. His consistent top-end impact is undeniable, however; he's the only player in the NFL to put up at least 100.00 Reception NEP in each of the last four years.
