Jets bench Ryan Fitzpatrick after abysmal first half Monday
New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had 81 yards, 0 touchdowns and 1 interception on 5-of-12 passing in the first half against the Indianapolis Colts before being benched on Monday.
Bryce Petty replaced Fitzpatrick in the second half, and with how poorly Fitzpatrick has played this season, the Jets could stand to give the sophomore Petty an extended look through the remainder of the season.
Fitzpatrick posted -1.83 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) on his 12 attempts, bringing him to 0.00 Passing NEP per dropback on the season.
