49ers to make call on Carlos Hyde's (shoulder) status Saturday
San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde's (shoulder) playing status will be determined on Saturday, said head coach Chip Kelly.
"He’ll go through just like he did last week," Kelly said. "It’s really range of motion and Carlos’ comfort level." It sounds like Hyde is closer to doubtful than questionable, but at least the decision will be made prior to games kicking off on Sunday. DuJuan Harris shouldn't be on any waivers at this point.
If he does play, our models currently have Hyde projected for 67 rushing yards and 0.58 touchdowns on 16 carries versus the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10. Arizona ranks 10th in the league this season in Adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points allowed per play.
